The ShowRoom will host a benefit screeing of the film “We Were Here” at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 in honor of AIDS Awareness month in December.
The documentary tells the story of the impact of the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco in the 1980s.
The Show Room will donate a portion of “We Were Here” tickets to The Center, the nonprofit in Asbury Park that serves both the needs of people living with HIV and AIDS and their caregivers in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
